No. Walk-ins are welcome seven days a week. You can also schedule a same-day appointment online for added convenience.
What ages do you treat?
We care for patients from birth up to their 21st birthday. Once a patient turns 21, we recommend an adult urgent care or their primary care provider.
What are your hours?
We are open Monday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with last registration at 10:45 PM.
What conditions do you treat?
We treat a wide range of non-life-threatening pediatric illnesses and injuries, including fevers, strep throat, flu, RSV, asthma, ear infections, vomiting, diarrhea, rashes, UTIs, minor burns, cuts, sprains, fractures, sports injuries and more.
Do you have X-rays on site?
Yes. On-site digital X-rays are available all day, every day for conditions such as suspected fractures and other injuries.
Do you offer lab testing?
Yes. ABC Pediatric Urgent Care offers on-site diagnostic testing, including rapid testing for conditions such as flu, COVID-19 and strep throat.
Can you treat cuts that need stitches?
Yes. We provide laceration repair when appropriate, including stitches, staples and skin glue.
Do you treat broken bones?
We can evaluate many suspected fractures and provide on-site X-rays and splinting when appropriate. More serious injuries may require treatment at an emergency department or specialist.
How do I know if my child needs urgent care or the ER?
ABC Pediatric Urgent Care is appropriate for many non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Serious or life-threatening symptoms, such as severe difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, uncontrolled bleeding or major trauma, require emergency care. If you’re unsure whether we can treat your child’s condition, call our office for guidance.
What insurance does ABC Pediatric Urgent Care accept?
We accept many major insurance plans, including Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, TRICARE, Virginia Medicaid and others. Coverage varies by plan, so contact your insurance provider or our office with questions about your specific coverage.
